Our Puppies

At Sassy Kennel we take pride in knowing that we sell purebred Boston Terriers of the highest quality.

While selling puppies does provide a second income for us, profit is not our primary goal. Quite simply, we are hobbyist dog breeders, and have been for more than 30 years.

Our main interest is enjoying the company of these affectionate dogs, and showing them at Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) dog shows.

More important than its champion lineage is the fact that your new puppy is going to be a member of the family. Known as the American Gentleman, the Boston Terrier is lively, smart, and affectionate with a gentle, even temperament.

When will a Boston Terrier puppy be ready for its new home?

Generally, a new puppy will be ready to go when they are 8-9 weeks old. The exact timing will depend on the health and needs of the puppy.

How long is your waitlist?

Boston Terriers typically have small litters of 1-3 puppies at a time. We are not a puppy mill. We breed our girls only when it is safe and in their best interest to do so. Depending on the number of breedings, and puppies per litter, we typically have 15-20 puppies per year. Our waitlist is currently 1.5-2 years long. If you would like to add your name to our waitlist, please call us.

Where are your dogs and puppies raised?

Our dogs and puppies are raised in the house. They grow up surrounded by people, including Stu and I, our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Boston Terriers are social dogs that requre companionship. We believe that it is very important to raise our dogs and puppies in the home. They are part of our family.

What is included when I purchase a puppy?
